Maintain visibility while production was underway.

The project involved automotive components already moving through the manufacturing process at a Chinese supplier.

The assignment was to follow production on site, document the relevant manufacturing environment and provide the client with clearer visibility into how the components were progressing at the factory.

The focus was on observable production activity and physical output at different stages of the process.

Production as it was happening on the factory floor.

The factory visit provided direct visibility into the active production environment, including workstations, production equipment and the people involved in manufacturing operations.

Documenting the process on site gave the client a clearer view of the conditions in which the components were being produced and how manufacturing activity was organized at the facility.

Following automated stages of production.

Automated equipment formed part of the production environment observed during the factory follow-up.

The visit documented the equipment in operation and its place within the manufacturing process, adding another layer of visibility beyond supplier updates and remote communication.

Physical output at the production stage.

Components present on the production floor provided a physical reference for the manufacturing work taking place at the facility.

Their presence allowed the production follow-up to document actual output alongside the equipment and processes observed on site.

What we followed on site

01 · Production environment

Visible manufacturing activity, workstations and production setup at the facility.

02 · Automated processes

Automated equipment operating as part of the manufacturing workflow.

03 · Component output

Physical components present during the production stage.

04 · Finished format

The resulting component format available for review later in the production sequence.

From production activity to physical product.

Later in the production sequence, finished component assemblies provided another reference point for documenting how manufacturing was progressing.

Together with the factory-floor observations, automated equipment and earlier component output, they completed a visual record across several stages of production.

A clearer record of production on the ground.

The client received visual documentation across several stages of the manufacturing process, from the active production environment and automated equipment to physical components and finished assemblies.

This provided a clearer record of what was happening at the factory and gave the client greater visibility into production before the next project decision.
