Production Support in China

Keep communication, specifications, approvals and production follow-up coordinated with your manufacturer in China. CCG stays involved from the approved sample through production and preparation for final inspection.

The order is only the beginning.

A confirmed manufacturer and an agreed quotation do not close the operational work still ahead. Specifications need to stay current. Samples and changes need approval. Questions from the factory need timely answers, and delays need to reach you before they affect the shipment date.

CCG stays involved on the China side through this stage, keeping communication, samples, approvals and follow-up organized so nothing sits unanswered.

Keep the project moving.

Specifications

Maintain the current agreed product requirements, reference documents and production instructions used in communication with the manufacturer.

Samples

Coordinate sampling, revisions and confirmation of the version approved for production.

Approvals

Track decisions that require client confirmation before the manufacturer proceeds.

Factory communication

Handle day-to-day communication with the manufacturer in China and clarify operational questions as they arise.

Schedule

Follow the confirmed production milestones and request updates when timing changes.

Quality stages

Coordinate the timing of inspections or other agreed verification steps before shipment.

Start from an agreed reference.

Production follow-up depends on both sides working from the same starting point: a sample, drawings, agreed revisions and packaging requirements, kept as a single current version rather than a document buried in an old email thread.

CCG organizes this information and passes it to the manufacturer as the project moves forward. When something changes, the current approved version should stay clear to both the client and the factory. Drafting new technical specifications is a separate task, scoped only where it's explicitly agreed.

Depending on the product, that reference typically includes:

Reference / golden sample Drawings & dimensions Materials Colour & finish Packaging & labelling Approved revisions

Changes need a clear decision trail.

01 · Request

Raised by the factory

The manufacturer raises a question, a proposed change or a request that needs a decision.

02 · Clarification

Reviewed

CCG clarifies the issue and passes the relevant information to the client.

03 · Decision

With the client

The client approves, rejects or adjusts the instruction. Final approval on product and specification decisions stays with the client unless otherwise agreed.

04 · Confirmation

Closed out

CCG confirms the decision with the manufacturer and updates the current project record.

Know where the order stands.

CCG reports on and follows up on production information provided by the manufacturer, and can arrange additional on-site verification where separately agreed. Routine remote follow-up is not a substitute for a physical inspection — where that's needed, we scope a factory audit or quality-control visit separately.

Problems should surface early.

Manufacturing issues take different forms — material availability, a sample deviation, a specification question, a production delay, a packaging change, a quantity discrepancy, a quality concern. Each needs the same basic handling: the facts established, and the client informed before the issue affects cost or schedule.

From approved order to finished batch.

01

Handover

We review the supplier, quotation, specifications, confirmed samples and production requirements already agreed.

02

Coordination

We establish the working communication flow with the manufacturer and organize the current project information.

03

Follow-up

We track reported progress, coordinate questions and approvals, and escalate material changes or issues.

04

Final stage

We coordinate readiness for the agreed inspection, consolidation or shipment stage.

Production support — frequently asked questions

Coordination with the manufacturer after supplier selection — specifications, samples, approvals, production updates, schedule follow-up, issue handling and preparation for the agreed inspection or shipment stage. Exact scope depends on the project.

No. CCG coordinates the client side of the production project and follows up directly with the manufacturer. The factory remains responsible for its own operations, personnel, equipment and production performance.

Yes. Production support can begin with an existing supplier. We first review the available quotation, specifications, samples and order terms, and confirm the current project status before taking on the agreed coordination scope.

On-site visits can be arranged where the project requires physical verification. Routine follow-up is typically handled through direct communication with the manufacturer; factory visits and inspections are scoped separately.

Quality inspection is a separate service unless it's explicitly included in the agreed scope. We can coordinate pre-production, during-production or pre-shipment inspection depending on the product and order.

No. Production schedules depend on the manufacturer — materials, capacity and technical issues all play a role. We follow the agreed timeline, request updates, and escalate material delays or changes to the client.

Ideally before the production order is released, once the supplier, commercial terms and specifications are sufficiently defined. That gives the communication and approval process time to be in place before production begins.
