Quality Control & Inspection in China

We independently inspect your goods against the agreed specification or approved sample before they ship — not against the factory's own report. Problems get caught while they're still in China.

Before your goods are packed for shipment

Product inspection checks the batch itself — dimensions, materials, workmanship and function — against your specification or approved sample, whether that's during a production run or once the order is complete.

  • Dimensions and specification match
  • Materials and workmanship
  • Functionality, where applicable
  • Packaging and labelling, to your requirements
  • Random sampling by AQL level
  • Photo and video documentation

For the full checklist we work from, see our guide to pre-shipment inspection in China.

Standard pre-shipment inspection starts from €300 per man-day. Final cost depends on product, factory location and scope — confirmed upfront, in writing.

Related services

Verification, a factory audit, production coordination and logistics continue as separate services around inspection — scoped once we know what's needed.

Quality control — frequently asked questions

A statistical standard that sets how many units to inspect from a batch, and how many defects are tolerable, based on batch size and the sampling level you choose.

We report the findings before the goods are packed for shipment and coordinate the next step with you and the factory — rework, re-inspection, a commercial adjustment, or holding the shipment. The decision is yours.

Yes. Quality control is a standalone service — we regularly inspect at factories our clients sourced themselves.

A factory audit assesses the factory itself — capability, equipment, processes and quality systems — usually before you commit to production. Product inspection checks the actual goods against your specification or approved sample, usually before shipment. See Factory Audit if the facility itself also needs assessing.
