The project involved fabric being manufactured at a Chinese textile facility.
The assignment was to observe relevant stages of production and examine the physical material on site, giving the client a clearer view of the fabric being produced before the next project decision.
The factory visit documented the textile production environment and the yarn-handling equipment feeding the manufacturing process.
This established the production context around the material that would later be examined as finished fabric.
A closer view of the equipment showed the large number of parallel threads moving through the production system.
